Shipping (Pvt) Ltd (GPS) is the Freight Forwarding
arm of the AJH Group. Having incorporated in the mid
nineties to handle part of the core business of the
Group, the Company has grown over the years into a
fully fledged outfit and is now a major player in
the Freight and Logistics Industry.
Being considered as a reliable and efficient freight
forwarder in Sri Lanka, GPS has been in the
forefront of the Industry since the inception, often
playing an influential role in the development of
the National standards.
Our wealth of experience and the expertise in the
Shipping business has helped us to expand our
activities, enabling us to offer the entire gamut of
products and services including representation of
Shipping Lines. In our quest to make our presence in
the Region, we have already set foot into India and
have commenced our own Operations and in the process
of expanding into the whole of the West Asia Region.
As we continue to grow and progress, what is
foremost in our minds is to strengthen our
capabilities so as to maintain highest performance
levels with cost effectiveness in order to meet
growing demands of Customers. Due to the continuous
pursuance of our expansion programme, GPS now
operates container services between Colombo, its
home port, and Indian-Sub-Continent, Middle and Far
East.
